Airplane box: export "hidden champion", French demand surges 125%

According to data from Alibaba International Station, airplane boxes are becoming the “hidden champion” of overseas packaging:

European market: French buyers' demand for FSC-certified recycled paper airplane boxes surged by 125%, and the premium for degradable material products reached 35%; Germany requires suppliers to provide moisture-proof and pressure-resistant industrial-grade airplane boxes, and the order growth rate exceeds 38%.

Emerging markets: Saudi e-commerce supporting packaging purchases increased by 40%; Argentina's orders for thickened airplane boxes surged by 101%; Chile's fruit export season drove customized purchases by 70%.

B-side procurement model: Over 65% of overseas buyers purchase directly from source factories through international stations, and a Spanish supermarket chain placed a single order of 500,000 airplane boxes.

Kraft paper bags: high-end and intelligent export trends are significant

In the third quarter of 2025, China's kraft paper bag exports will show a growth pattern of "complex functions + high-end scenarios":

EU luxury goods market: The carbon footprint can be seen as the demand for kraft paper bags surges, and exports to France increase by 127% year-on-year. Smart paper bags using blockchain traceability technology have passed EPD certification and become the designated packaging for the LVMH Group's carbon neutrality plan. The single-season purchase volume exceeded 230 million pieces.

Global market size: Global kraft paper bag packaging market sales will reach US$5.528 billion in 2025, and are expected to reach US$7.45 billion in 2031, with a compound annual growth rate of 5.10% -.

Inspiration for carton/paper bag factories: There is strong export demand for aircraft boxes and kraft paper bags, and FSC certification, degradable materials, moisture-proof and pressure-resistant functions have become the barriers to entry for the European and American markets. It is recommended to give priority to obtaining FSC certification, develop high-end customized products (such as carbon footprint visualization, intelligent traceability paper bags), and seize the incremental space in Europe and emerging markets.
